The service is targeted to help parents and caretakers to deal with the massive amount of the legal information and to reduce the amount of work for the Foundation.
Challenge
Charity foundation Podari Zhizn is daily addressed by the parents of the children suffering from cancer. The topics have a great variety, from sick leave and help requests to the instructions to recognise fraudsters. The foundation has staff lawyers and legal volunteers. Even with this staff, the foundation cannot always respond quickly enough due to the great number of the Foundation’s wards.

The Fund team
The LegalPics team and the Foundation lawyers classified the issues, developed the text structure and the user-friendly algorithm of service. Furthermore, each issue block comes with the visual context developed by illustrators. A separate work was carried out on the compilation of algorithms for finding an answer to a specific life situation. In particular, after answering several questions, the service allows the user to receive relevant information regarding the request. The service consists of 10 sections, each provides information related to broad topics, such as: medical insurance, high-tech medical care, sick leave etc. Legal information of each topic is transformed into clear text added by direct references to the law and relevant documents. For the convenience of users, a tutorial with a brief description of the service functionality was created.

Result
Legal issues are difficult to apprehend for nonspecialists especially when being under stress. The solution to address the problem must be ergonomic and effective.

With the clear answers for extremely difficult legal questions designed lightly with the intuitive approach, parents of the fund’s wards will be able to receive legal aid by themselves.
